Mason Live

Good guitar, but not what I thought I ordered!

When researching the Mason Live on your website, the first version presented was the Mason Live in Spruce. Since the built-in tuner is important to me, I decided to purchase the Mason Live, but in Mahogany given the option to 'Select Top Wood' in Mahogany, Spruce or Cedar. There was no indication that the guitar features would differ based on the color, so you can imagine my surprise when I received the Mahogany Mason Live with no tuner. To me, this is an important distinction that should be made clearer on the website i.e. selecting a color isn't just about the color - it also changes the guitar configuration. Even when I clicked on the '?' related to the Select Top Wood language for more information, it only addressed the differences in sound, not that the configuration might change based on the color selected. Seems very confusing and inaccurate to call both the Spruce and Mahogany versions 'Mason Live' when they have substantial feature differences. Thanks Dan Wright

Mason live, buzz

Hello, thank you for reaching out. I would like to express my concerns about this guitar. Although I love the tone, the strings do have some fret buzz, and there is a nick in the g string.I'm wondering if I could get a new set of strings for this guitar.Thank you

Very pleased. Well packaged, timely shipped, no complaints. Nice toy. Well constructed, well set up, nice action, pretty Mahogany top. Sounds much better than expected as well. Kudos Orangewood. Job well done.
