I like it... but

I love the way this allows me to transport my kids drinks from the restaurant to the house without spilling... it is saving me from cleaning up. Also, keep my work stuff from falling in the floor is also pretty cool. But, the rod and strap that are supposed to keep it in place aren't really that effective. I can push the rod into the seat, but the moment I try to tighten it, the rob comes out. I was thinking I would be able to twist it from the back, but my van design doesn't give me access like that. Is there a way to improve this? Maybe make the rod larger, or abrasive. All that said, it stays in place pretty well. I'm looking forward to seeing more great things from this team. Never stop inventing. I have a few ideas.
