The shovel is nice but this holder is really a half product. I had to add an additional strap to secure the shovel, without it the holder WILL NOT securely hold the shovel and it will fall out on the trail. . . ask me how I know. So in the end I'm happy with it but I did have to make a modification for it to work, which isn't really what I would expect for a product like this.
