Love my Camellia

I’ve been looking at dresses here for a few years. I’m the happy owner of 6 Sloan tee shirts. I’m a tee and jeans person day in and day out! I really wanted to try a dress and one I could pair with a tee. The Camellia works perfectly. I tried the small long first based on reviews. This was a great fit except that the armhole opening didn’t feel deep enough and I felt it wouldn’t fit right with a tee underneath. I exchanged it for a medium which is a bit looser all over worn alone but still works. The lower half is also looser but not extreme. The Aline shape is flattering and because it falls just below my knee I can easily belt it for a different look. I also chose it because the fabric is the same as the Sloan tee which I love. And pockets!! For reference I’m 5’6”, 135lbs, 36/33/39 (and 74 yrs :) I’ve recently lost about 10 lbs and am generally a med/size 10 but recently wearing more size small/8

I love the color, the neckline, the length, and the fabric. The pockets do not lie flat, which is annoying, and the armholes were just a tad long and show more of my bra than I’d hoped. I may try to size down for my next purchase.

Customer service got involved in this. I got a size down because the collar on the dress I purchased for the 100 day dress challenge stretched out 3"+ and meant I had to layer under it. So I bought a small in this dress based on the sizing charge and it was SO tight. I reached out to customer service about an exchange but was worried it, too, might not work or would stretch. They assured me it wouldn't (not my experience) but said they'd help out if the next size stretched. I ordered up but it was still too small and, at that point, I was so done with the company that I got an gift card and tried to find some products to spend it on so I could stop wasting my time.
