Installed easily on my Mazda CX-50 roof rack. Included hardware works perfectly. Mounting the awning to the L brackets wasn't an issue eother. I dod it myself, and it would be that much easier woth a second person assisting. But the weight isn't unreasonable for one person to manage, assuming a good back and "average man" strength. I really appreciate the protective casing. I was worried the case would be more fabric and fade/ deteriorate due to sun exposure. But it appears to be a leatherette / laminated material that should hold up well to the weather. The zipper is robust, But does require a little caution around the bulky part of the awning. The set up is very easy. Unzip, unlike the tie downs, pull the awning out around the center pivot, attach the tensioner line to the awning leed and a cross bar on the roof rack, pull the tensioner taut, and deploy the support legs. There are guide lines, but I haven't been in sufficient weather to use those yet. Im sure they work fine. The one caveats I've fown is for the mazda cx-50 at least you need to release the last leg support near the awning lead before fully deploying the awning. Otherwise there isn't enough room to release the leg. Not an issue, just a consideration. This 270 provides just enough cover around the car, I can put 2 lawn chairs out, my camp kitchen set up isn't under the covers of the awning, but thats fine, the coverage is jist enough on the driver side to provide covered access for back seat camping. As for the liftgate. On the cx-50 the lift gate when fully up is just too high. I can of course not fully open the lift gate, which is what I do when needing access to the cargo area. I think the awning can lift towards the back but im not sure if that's a good idea and would put undue strain on the hinge pivot. So I dont do that In all, its a great awning and will get lots of use moving forward.

I like. It's light for what it does and I feel like it's well built. I have several Overland products and I like all of them.

Product is great
The installation is super easy. I installed it to my Yakima rack, but had to purchase and install T bolts. The product seems great and works easily. We’ll see how it holds up time will tell.
