Tasty and not fishy at all. Salted well, but I prefer to add dashi, soy sauce, and sake to turn flavor profile into more of an ikura-style roe

We really love trout roe. Its wonderful on eggs, latkes, pizza, a burger, trout and just about anything else that something a bit salty would be yummy on.
