Textured hair

This was my first time buying extensions and was recommended to try bfb hair for my desired wedding updos. As someone who has very textured thick hair, it was unfortunate to learn that the extensions were so different from my hair type which has caused me to spend twice the amount of money to purchase the correct type of hair. As for the quality, I would say that the hair has held up well and has served its purpose for wedding trials. I am hoping in the future that bfb will consider inclusivity when it comes to all different hair textures with their extensions.

Thin, very straight, and NON REFUNDABLE! Buy with caution.

The hair is good quality, but is very straight(if you have wavy hair it will look fake), and fairly thin(so if you have thicker hair it will also look fake), and the hair is NON RETURNABLE if you open the package, so it really is a commitment if you purchase it to not know what it will look like... I bought mine after seeing the at home kit for color, but when I received them and tried them on, I looked ridiculous for the reasons listed above, and now I'm stuck with them since they won't issue a return after the package has been opened. Buy with caution! I'd say overall shipping was fast, but experience was very poor. I would not buy again for the simple fact that you can't try it on first.

Do not live up to the hype.

Unfortunately these were a big loss for me. A few reasons: these are incredibly thin. I have relatively thick hair, but still, these only covered half of my head and STILL weren’t thick enough to hide my real hair. It was gross how obvious it was that I was wearing extensions. 160 grams should be more than enough and have been with other extensions I got off Amazon even! Next, they come straightened. In EVERY piece of marketing material I’ve seen from BFB they are beautifully styled and curled. But these were straight and didn’t hold curl well at all. One of the reasons I finally took the leap to buy these after years of wanting them was because I wanted that gorgeous curl I always see in BFB marketing pics! Big let down. You can’t just clip these in and go. They take so much styling to look decent. I have three kids. I don’t have time to do my hair for 2-4 hours a day. That’s what I would need with these, no exaggeration. I have short/medium hair to my shoulders. These extensions do NOT work with that. Blending was almost impossible. I do have thicker, coarse hair.... but still. Last, my package came missing a weft AND had a huge gray hair/string attached to one of them. I contacted customer service but haven’t resolved the issue yet. At least they’ve responded, though. Maybe if you already have long, thin, straight hair and you just looooove to spend hours and hours each day styling your hair...these would work for you. But wow. What a loss for the rest of us. I still have two stars because at LEAST they were packaged well and the hair itself wasn’t smelly or shedding.
