I was looking for a boot that was comfortable for long hours on your feet working roadway construction. These boots have ample room for your feet and toes to move and spread about. They tend to be a bit warm but it’s a boot, not sandals, let’s get real here. There was no “break in” period. I laced these bad boys up and worked 12 hours on my feet walking miles. Not a single blister to be found. My feet are in between sizes so I ordered a 7.5 and an 8. The 7.5 was perfect and the leather is so soft and supple that they stretched out just a tad with wear. Loved them so much that I exchanged the 8’s for a 7.5 instead of a return! Please don’t ever stop making these boots Lems!

Runs big and sloppy

Got the boulder summit and trail thrashers in the same size. Trail thrashers fit well and the boulder summit were too long and too wide and unfortunately when you try them on and walk around a bit you can’t exchange them because the need to only used inside and in new condition. Love the boot, just too big

The Perfect Boot!

I have been searching for a long time for the perfect barefoot boot for off-grid life. I had looked at Lems before but had a hard time justifying the cost. I'm retired and on Social Security. My previous barefoot shoes, never meant for what I put them through, finally blew out, and the Summit went on sale at the same time. That was a clear indication to me to buy them now or never buy them at all. The moment I put them on, they felt a little snug; I took out the insole, and that made them perfect. I love that there was no break-in period. I do wish there were 2 or 3 speed hooks on the top, but I'll muddle through until they make that happen.
