Too light bodied for me
I don't care for this tea. It's very light bodied and the taste reminds me of a Darjeeling with a pinch of Oolong (neither of which I like). I tried doubling the amount of tea the second time I brewed it but am still not a fan. To give you background, I drink predominately China black tea (Keemun, Mao Feng, Hao Ya, etc.) Ceylon black teas. Was hoping to support an American-grown tea, but I won't be repurchasing this tea.
On the upside, I also purchased the Earl Grey and did like that one.

I love this tea and feel all American while drinking it. It also reminds me of our trip to Charleston a few years ago now

American Classic tea is just that, such a rich, delicious tea and a personal favorite I like to keep on hand. I also love that I still have the two lovely metal tins from my first purchase years ago. As a tea lover, for me this tea should be a national treasure.
