For being so light this is a super sturdy, high quality tent. Once tied down it can withstand spring New Mexico winds with ease. Fast set up, warm, roomy, well placed pockets.

Excellent Lightweight Hunting Tent

Spent 7 days in the Alaska Range hunting Dall Sheep and experienced 40+mph winds, rain, snow, and hail. Tent performed exceedingly well when pitched on a shale mountainside, snowfield, or on a mountain grass vista. I’m a medium sized dude at 68” and had tons of space for all my gear that would push me through a 10 day hunt. Vestibules on both sides allow for easy access to gear and helped with ventilation. I highly recommend this tent to other backpack hunters!

For short people

I returned this (excellent customer service). I couldn’t get over it being 80” long. I’m 74” tall so that’s 3” on each side of me to not touch the walls. I think SGs sleeping bags are longer than this tent. It says it’s designed for really tight places but it’s wider than all other 1p tents. If space was an issue so that it was only made 80” long then it should be a coffin like all other 1p tents. Need 5” more unless your short and use the short size sleeping bag and short size thermarests. Sure it’s super quality like all their other stuff but just not for tall folks.
