For the price it's for sure a great option, the finish and qaulity is up there with Sugino's mid tier fixed gear cranksets. I bought them for a beater but honestly I love the cranks and especially the chainring enough to move them to other bikes in the future. Great crankset great chainring.

My Core-Line feels faster

The Black Label V3 crankset was the first upgrade I've made to my State core-line since having bought it two years ago and I don't think I'll ever look back! Learning more about gear ratios, I'll probably pair it with a 17T cog State offers but the ride is so smooth! The all black also compliments my bike well. Overall, I'm very happy with the upgrade and excited to have it on the full V3 bicycle soon! The bigger ratio 48x16 vs the stock 44x16 is a little tougher for those who will only do this drivetrain upgrade but well worth it if you want a slightly tougher workout. Overall my average times around town are improving with that effort as well. State has been my primary fixed gear brand for years and they will continue to be! Even for the most casual rider I would recommend this drivetrain upgrade for anyone.
