Just® Chenille Cone

perfect!

I am knitting a throw sized blanket with 3 different cable patterns, that alternate into 11 panels, plus borders for the width and together are a 32 row pattern repeat. I will have 10 pattern repeats + 12 more rows of pattern, ending with 6 rows of the border, for a total of 173 stitches across X 344 rows. I am using a 60", size 7 circular needle, knitting flat. I am almost finished with the 3rd pattern repeat, so we can see what the finished throw will look like.....and, Oh, MY! It is a thing of Beauty! I have named it, "Paula's Cozy Purple Paradise" for the lady that I am making for. It is so beautiful that I ordered 2 more cones of the same yarn & color and will be making the same for myself. It does take me on the average 20-30 minutes per row, but it is so beautiful, I don't care! I wish other colors like the grey or a slate blue came on cones. Love it!!

Dollar Tree?

This was my “go to” yarn at Dollar Tree. Now I can’t find it. Is it being discontinued? It’s great for the smaller, fuzzy crochet items that sale at markets.

Just chenille cones

Most of the chenille cones are awesome. ive had a few that are thinner which is frustrating but most are very nice. I love working with this yarn. I like it in the cone or in the skein. The skein is easy on the go and the cone is nice at home. I've found that some of the colors are only on the cone or only on the skein. so i have some of each. I think i have most of the colors now because i use them for Amigurumi. everyone loves the softness of my ami because of this yarn. I will keep buying it.
