I began buying Thorlo moderate cushion hiking socks decades ago. The quality hasn't changed one bit, and they continue to stand the test of time. I wouldn't choose any other sock for spring/summer/fall hiking. I also wear them around the house with slippers, and sometimes for cross-country skiing on warm winter days. Highly recommend!
