Over the years I’ve tried other brands of insoles, a lot of times they don’t cut it. Getting back into skateboarding after 20 years a year ago I had to make sure my feet were comfortable. Having flat feet adds to the equation. These insoles absolutely rock. These have more or less become my standard issue for all my shoes. Props to Remind with their products too

Game changer for gravity mountain bike shoes

The stock insoles for gravity (enduro / downhill) mountain bike shoes suck... very thin with minimal energy absorption. I've tried other aftermarket insoles in my shoes, and none of them made much of a difference, even D3O ones. The Destin Impacts transformed a pair of grippy flat pedal shoes that hurt my feet on sustained rough descents to my favorite downhill shoes. It makes sense in hindsight - riding gravity MTB involves hard impacts to your feet multiple times per second for several minutes at a time - like landing skateboard tricks on fast forward. So an insole that is great for skating will be great for MTB. The Destin is so good that I bought a second pair for my other MTB shoes, and am thinking about putting them in my ski boots too.
