Decent
The screws they show on the install video are not the same ones you get. You get flimsy torx-ish screws that are so easy to strip that idk how they even passed QC. Unless they are directly supplied by ops-core themselves, they really need to change the heads on them. On top of that, they back out super easy so you NEED blue locktite. If you strip them like I did just trying to prefit them, you’re out 267 dollars. My arms swing too much because I can’t tighten them down to the rail. The mlok adaptor seemed like a cheap 3d printed piece of plastic. I genuinely would rather have paid 100$ more for a more robust, pre-threaded, metal adaptor which is why they probably have the backout issues in the first place. The links themselves seem like they are 3d printed with some sort of carbon fiber filament. I assumed it was supposed to be tegris but I could be wrong. The arm joint that connects to the side of the comtac tore slightly. The weird hook to mount the mic itself is so janky and loses all ability to move once in place. Which could have been solved by.. just creating a snap in point with a screw that allowed tension to hold it? It’s okay. And a very mild okay at best. But yeah. Until they upgrade the hardware, you’re better off just using the peltor headset itself.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST option for a tough mounting job! Theres a ton of junk out there, this isnt it! Kodie walked me through this and had me squared away in minutes! AXL is definitely getting a big shout out on our upcoming helmets review!
