Bracket works, but requires a bit of work

The Tekonsha P3 unit does fit into the bracket if you snap off the small latch on the top. The work part is as follows. 1) you have to extend the cable to reach from the parking brake to the center console. I recommend that you buy the Toyota cable, then splice the Tekonsha cable to the Toyota cable to get enough length. Its only 4 wires. 2) be prepared to take out the dash below the steering wheel. Its very difficult to route the cable into the lower center console. 3) Removing the lower console bin isn't too difficult, but removing the two 12V power sockets is very tedious. 4) After you cut off the back of the storage bin, its very hard to determine where to drill the side bolt holes to secure the brake controller. Once installed, the install doesn't look bad and its its pretty to reach to change the settings.
