Had two opportunities to use the gloves this week. They are ok, didn't feel that they provided any more warmth than any other glove I have warn over the years. I do like the grip and feel of the glove. They run a little small in my opinion, XL usually fit about right.

Not warm
This is my third pair of gloves from Kuiu. I will have to say these are the first to disappoint me; I've used them in 25–30-degree weather with a 5-10 mph windchill and couldn't keep my hands warm (was only outside for maybe 45 minutes with moderate activity). I have the Merino wool and the Axis glove. I will have to say the Axis is 10x better than these. They are warmer, not as bulky and more comfortable. Not sure where this line fits in. The reason for the two stars is quality. The breakup, palm tackiness and stitching are top notch; I could see them being a benefit for getting wet. They are also hard to get on and off; That's the main reason I chose these over the expedition gloves (heard they were even more difficult).
