Carman TAPERED Chinos for Tall Men in Desert Khaki

Men's sizes are based on literal measurements. Where as large medium etc. tends to vary based on item or manufacture. That is why I was so surprised when I received the pants from American Tall. My boyfriend is typically a 31x34. I ordered a 32x34 just in case and when he tried the pants on he could barely button them. The other pants from Macys fits perfect, all his other 31/32's fit-but American Tall not even close. I was surprised just how far off a 32" your manufactures actually were. I returned both pairs and will not be ordering again.

Very good , but could be improved.

I love the fabric, a very soft brushed twill, and the construction seems very good as well. My only complaint is one I've raised on this site before: the crotch is way too tight, especially in a chino where it should be more relaxed. I have to assume the short rise and tight crotch is done to save money. if this is being done for fashion's sake, that's a fool's errand since fashion is mercurial and fickle. Otherwise these are some of the better pants designed for tall men.

Great fit - thin material

Size was great, as usual, but the material is very thin compared to Carhartt and Kuhl. Jeans were also included in the order. Arrived with torn belt loop and after 3 days, I still can't get a return or exchange arranged.
