Not a gator for Sorel Pack Boots

I wear I size 10 shoe and have a pair of Sorel Pack boots that I have had for 30 years. I was looking to upgrade my gators so I purchased these. They run tight and the cut seems to be designed more for hiking boots than an insulated pack boot. After a couple of tries I ended up with a XXL which still fits tight at the ankle and vamp of the boot, but is too big at the top of the calf. It is difficult to cinch down the top of the gator to fit well around the top of the calf.

Buy them you won't regret it!
