Great item. Its sad that the vehicle doesnt already come with this feature. The wire taps can take some effort to manipulate properly. I ended up putting a thick headband on mine and clamping down with a partially opened vice grip. This allowed me to dictate the stopping point of the vice grip without damaging the housing of the wire tap, and the thick headband ensured that it was not scratched or marred.
