Haven't had time yet to take it to a dark sky site, but the ES 24mm 68º has, so far, easily kept up with the TV Pan 24 and Meade 25mm HD-60. It's the heaviest of the three, but still a lot lighter than the old Meade 5000 SWA it replaced. Excellent eyepiece. Recommended.

Amazingly widens the true field of view and darkens the background sky, while almost fitting into a standard 1. 25" focuser. The trouble is that the complaints about being unable to properly tighten the focuser's (or diagonal's) set screws are real. They scrape against the eyepiece's bulged barrel. It would have been easy to have built a little extra space between the set screws and the bulge. Worse, the tapered barrel sitting inside the focuser tube against the set screws forces the eyepiece to sit so low as to scrape. It is not possible to fudge enough room by tightening the screws with the eyepiece lifted away from the set screws. This may require finding longer set screws to be able to properly secure the eyepiece.

Very Nice
I purchased a pair for my Oberwerk BT-82SD and these don't dissapoint!. They are up there with eyepieces that cost three to four times more. I made a GREAT CHOICE!
