This outdoor solar motion detector is Great, both outside and inside. In the event of a power failure, or if you need, want to have light in dark areas, it's portable and a great, bright light. And if there was a usp plug so you can charge if no sunlight, it could, would, be even better. We'll worth it's cost.

A welcome light in the darkness

We live in southern California and we have a rather large front yard that seems to invite all sorts of native wild life. Frequently, we have possums, skunks, raccoons, our kitties and of course, the neighbors cats...and occasionally we have coyotes! Since our yard has no lighting in many areas, we purchased the LitezAll 500 solar fixture. We attached the solar light to a palm tree in a distant and darker part of your yard. We absolutely love it! So far, the fixture seems to recharge it cells daily without full, direct sunlight - one of our concerns when we purchased the light. When the light comes on, it illuminates some of our many welcome "night visitors" that we so enjoy. The fixture has an additional benefit that we discovered after purchasing the solar light - it has a visible blinking red LED on the front of the fixture. The end of our driveway has no electrical access so a second fixture is going at the end of our drive and it's our hope that the blinking LED may keep away some "unwanted guests" in the future.
