Pretty Good, But Room For Improvement

I think that the notion of a multi-fit holster/release design is the only path forward in the holster industry that offers long term profitability. There are too many pistol designs now for individually fitted holsters to be viable anymore. The Assent Pro-Fit is absolutely a move in the right direction, but I think it's not quite there. Actually, I think that the venerable CarryLok was a better design. I prefer the release mechanism of the CarryLok to that of the Assent Pro-Fit, and because the belt "ears" of the CarryLok don't have a plastic core that holster conforms better to the body and is more comfortable. If you made a CarryLok for my Springfield XDm Elite I would have bought it without looking further. The adjustment feature of the Assent Pro-Fit is brilliant, though. If you could merge the best features of both holsters into one, I think you'd have a real winner.

Great retention, conceals nicely, just wish it worked with weapon lights.
