GIANT Bumper Plate Tree w/ Bar Storage

Love my Giant weight Tree and bar storage rack. Cleaned up my floor and me storing bumper plates on/agaunst the wall. Thanks Giant team as always for fast and hassle free shipping.

Got it to hold my heavy bumper plates and some bars. Does the job as expected. Currently holding six 45's, two 35's and two 25's as well as an olympic bar and EZ bar.

Functional, though a bit sloppy.

The Bumper Plate Tree does what you'd expect — holds free weights and two barbells. Aesthetically it's clean and concise, like much of Giant's products. The issue, however, is that there were just some untidy errors with my product. One of the bolts which secure the base to the tower came with a non-matching-sized nut. This isn't absolutely detrimental, since there are three other bolts/nuts used to secure, but if I had more weight to put on the tree I would be worried. More of an issue is that one of the 3 branches which you actually put weights in does not fasten completely. I have to imagine that the thread where the bolt fastens is not tight enough, as the branch is loose and shakes. Again, it functions, but I would not put more than 15lbs on it for fear of it coming undone. My last issue with this product is that the bolt used to connect the base to the tower, which sits on the bottom of the tree, does not seem accounted for in the design. I say this because the bolt is not flush to the legs of the base, meaning the tower is permanently uneven sitting on top of the bolt. Again; since this is supposed to hold weights, the fact that it is unbalanced is a problem. Using left over cardboard I was able to create platforms for the legs to sit on (like an uneven table), but its a needlesssly sloppy issue to leave on the customer to address. I purchased this tree from GIANT because I was already grabbing other items, but with other competitors offering a near identical product for around the same price, it may be worth it to look elsewhere for this.
