After 10 plus years of HOURS that would make up days and even months of sitting behind a gen 1, I upgraded to a gen 2. I can still run all my Outdoorsmans stuff that I’ve built up but can also shoot off of it with the Arca cut. Best of both worlds and I’ve never felt like I needed to go with a fluid head after using buddies. The grease in these is smooth as butter. Or maybe even liquid butter…. The guys at Outdoorsmans are a bunch of studs and customer service that’s hard to find anymore.
