Everyday Electric Cooktop

Great product

Bought this for an RV. Two other brands I've bought before either tripped the breaker or wouldn't get hot enough to actually use. This one out preformed. At 1200w I was uncertain it would do the job. It does an excellent job! And it's cute too, bonus.

So, as I'm new to being a paraplegic, my kitchen has also become 'new' for me: how to navigate my appliances while limited to a wheelchair! That means, my electric drop in cooktop has become challenging and dangerous as well as my upper oven (thankfully I have a double oven). My husband built a butcher block pop up 'counter' for me to use for prep, but still getting a pan or pot on the stove without having to ask for help became very frustrating and often, made me feel worse than being in the chair. I started researching how I could just if anything, boil water. And, this unit popped up. I read the reviews and I know Dash stands behind everything they make/sell, so I ordered it. IT HAS FAR PASSED ANYTHING I COULD HAVE HOPED FOR! I started using it the day it arrived. Not only does it heat up FASTER than my coil burner electric cooktop, but I've made THE perfect frico omelets. The heat is even, the pan stays flat and the unit can fluctuate the heat on it's own as well as allowing for me to adjust the temperature. It's glass top (like an induction). You can see the red 'flame' and the cool down was less than I thought it would be as well. So far, what I purchased it for (boiling water) hasn't happened, as any chance I get, I use it to saute, scramble, fry. LOVE IT! and it does match my many other Dash products throughout my kitchen. So wish I thought of this months ago.
