Rose & Basil Bliss

Very appropriate for these warm months

So lovely. It's such an airy but somehow wet floral. Like a walk through a flowering garden after fresh rain. It works as a perfume yes but it would definitely work as a room spray or a candle. I need this as a room diffuser. It's the kind of scent you would enjoy even if you were burying your face into a pillow or some fresh linens.

It's a beautiful balanced blend of the herbaceous and the floral. I've received several compliments on it. It also layers well.

Where's the rose and basil?

To me, this smells like none of the scents mentioned in the description or other reviews, instead it's an artificial scent i can best describe as a fusion of menthol and acrylic. Maybe the bottle i got was spoiled ? Theoretically, i should love this scent; in practice, I'm wondering if it froze in transit or something. I gave it 2 months before reviewing to see if it would mellow down into what its supposed to smell like as sometimes perfumes do, but it is still the same.
