A bit harsh for sensitive skin

I am still giving this 5 stars because LM described it as something that could irritate sensitive skin. I decided to try a sample and do find it burns if I get it near my upper eye/brow area. I have since started being very careful when applying, being sure to first wash my hands before I apply any other facial product to my skin. I have been trying it on some pigmented areas on my cheeks- too soon to tell if it is lightening them. I do find that my skin feels smoother when I use it. I apply it every other evening.
