Chihiros WRGB II Slim LED Aquarium Light

My first RGB light

I bought this light as my first foray into the RGB series from Chihiros. Previously I had bought the C2 and two B30’s. I have to say the workmanship of the WRGB Chihiros Slim 30 is very high quality anodized metal. Green Aqua sent the light by prompt delivery and arrived well packaged minus any packing so a corner of the box inside was smushed but I don’t really feel like that’s something to overly complain about. The main reason I feel it needs to be addressed is that the cabling that comes off the light has a notch for the light but instead of some way to thread it into the riser it hangs down. To resolve this I used one of the twisty ties that came with the kit and with some working it fit flush with the notch in the riser. Over all my experience with Green Aqua has been positive and I have had a positive experience with the store interface and the high quality of selection they offer. I am glad they are here and thus far I am enjoying the new light.

Incredible Color Rendering

For the first year of my 6. 5g Neocaridina tank, I used a Fluval nano 3. 0. I thought I had a great light, never any major complaints. But when compared to my new Chihiros WRGB2 Slim, the Fluval was severely lacking in both intensity and color rendering. When I first plugged in the Chihiros, I was quite literally shocked at the difference! Cannot recommend a better light for a high-tech nano tank!
