12V DC Power Adapter for Radar Detectors

Can't beat the original

Looked for a backup for when the original cord goes and I wanted to keep it original and the price was right in line with all of the aftermarket ones!!

The power cord I purchased is of poor design. I was replacing the original one that I have had for ten years. The plug is wider, the external contacts are further down the barrel of the plug so you have to jam it into the cigarette socket. The problem with that is one of my cars is older and when I put in it got sock. Even on my newer car it is a tight fit. When I emailed your company the reponse was that it was redesigned so it would fall out. In the ten plus years that I have owned your detector I have never had that happen. My suggestion is to look at your old design and see how different the new power plug is.
