Great work boot for my use case

Working in an office setting while needing to occasionally trudge through mud and dirt, these are the perfect blend of professionalism and ruggedness. The zip is a great bonus for comfort.

Great High End Boot

I’ve bought cheap side zip boots on and off for years and decided to try something that will last. I have extremely flat feet and usually wear something around a size 11/11. 5 wide, occasionally a 12. I went with the size 11 of both these and the black. They shipped and arrived relatively quickly. My primary use for these is work related (mostly office but lots of moving around schools) but also something nice to wear to conferences or nights out in the colder months. Both pairs of boots are definitely the real deal by look, feel, and smell. Initially, I thought I should have gotten 11. 5, but after a few wearings to get the fit right and some adjustment of laces, I was definitely happy with size 11. I started wearing the same crew socks I had been for a while and then decided a few weeks ago to try something more specific to boots. Nothing remotely expensive, just crew socks more geared toward boot wear. That made the fit even better. These boots are heavier and stiffer than what I’ve ever had before, and they give me an extra inch of height or so, but the quality can’t be denied. I look forward to wearing these in winter for years to come and plan on eventually checking out Thursday’s more causal shoes for summer wear.
