AMAZING for the price!

Would highly recommend one of these, especially if you are somewhat of a beginner just looking for a good QUALITY microscope that you can hook up to your PC with USB. You can take screencaps this way which turned out amazing in my experience!

Good scope but software needs improvement.

The scope works well but there were no instructions with it. Also the software, available on-line, is not very user friendly. It has a lot of features but too complicated for just using the scope as a magnifying glass, which is what I wanted it for. I wish that there is a simple photo software that can be used with the scope. The stand included, does not hold the scope securely and the adjustments are hard to do. But I guess for the price it is OK.

The digital microscope is a well-made and easy to use device. I am using it to photograph coins in my collection. I do use additional lighting since the coins are dark toned copper. Once I capture an image, I use the included program's several features to adjust the lighting and sharpness of the object if necessary. These features are easy to use and result in excellent photos.
