Good bench scope for working on electronics

Great instrument for the price. Just two little nits to pick: First, the 5x eyepiece set is a little silly. Instead of lowering magnification with the same field of view, it reduces the field of view so the same image just looks farther away. I don't imagine I'll ever find a use for that. Second, I wanted to reverse the coarse height adjustment knob from the right to the left so that it wouldn't interfere with the light goose-neck. I removed all the set screws, but the silver posts wouldn't come out of the white painted metal pieces. I didn't try a lot of force because I didn't want to break my shiny new scope on the first day, so I gave up.

Great little scope

At this price, this scope works wonders. It’s exactly what I need for my electronics rework tasks. A few components are made of lower quality materials (the dust cover ripped in half on its second use), but I’m overall happy.
