AmScope M158C Monocular Biological Microscope with 400X Magnification LED

For 6 year old granddaughter

She asked for a microscope for her birthday, so grandparents chipped in. Because she's young, we knew to get a camera, too, so we could all watch the laptop screen as she learned to focus and move some prepared slides around. We also got the inexpensive mechanical stage to enable her to slowly move slide around. Finally, we got some blank slides and cover glasses, so we could make slides. Seeing live one-celled animals swimming in water was a big hit, all after maybe one hour of total use.
