Dry, dark field condenser

I bought the dry dark field condenser for a BHT Olympus Microscope. It was not intended for this Microscope, but it does fit and it works wonderfully. As an Olympus Darfield condenser is $500 used it was a great bargain.

Wrong Condenser Mount

I ordered this dry field condenser to go with the T660B-DKO microscope that I recently received from AmScope only to find that the base didn't match the condenser retainer mount on the microscope. The condenser base that came with the microscope has a blade mount whereas this condenser has a rounded mount that is not compatible with my scope. Further investigation revealed that the microscope I received does not match with the pictures of the T660B-DKO on their website, all of which clearly show the rounded base format on the condenser. It appears I received an older model microscope since they have not been able to provide me with a suitable dryfield condenser replacement. Without it, the microscope I received is useless as I am doing dark field analysis of live blood. I will update this review if AmScope can resolve this satisfactorily.
