My shelves came in three shipments. Installation of the first shipment went well. The second shipment contained a shelf that was packaged before its finish was dry. This resulted in a white haze on one side of the shelf. Both the second and third shipments had issues with spacing of the peg holes. The spacing did not match the spacing of the pegs on the brackets. This made the shelves extremely difficult to hang. I had to drill larger holes for one of the shelves, even after having two of my neighbors come to assist with placing it on the pegs. Positives were that the shelves look like I expected them to on the wall and the wood grain and color are excellent. I was particularly pleased that the 60 inch shelf was a true solid piece of wood and had beautiful grain.

I'm glad that I stumbled upon Urbandi. They build high quality products at a very reasonable price. Everything is custom made to order, which is why they can offer any width or length you want. The custom sizing was important to me, as I had limited space to mount the shelves and wanted a specific depth and length. My order took about 2 weeks to build and deliver, which is pretty good for a custom-built product. We live in Alaska so we're used to being ripped off on freight from the lower 48, but we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable freight charges from Urbandi. If you want cheap Rubberwood or pine shelves go to Amazon. But if you want solid American hardwood with strong steel mounting hardware look no further than Urbandi.
