Microlite GT Fly Rod

Excellent rod for nymphing.

I bought the 10' #2 for tight line nymphing. My previous nymphing rod had a stiffer, more tip action, and I was bumping off fish in fast water. I have only used the rod twice but it managed a 2lb rainbow, in fast water, very well. It has a soft, through action which cushions lunges very well and also makes flipping small beadheads easy. Also, hats off to Hayley at Sunray. After I drove over the tip of my rod, during a senior moment, she sourced a replacement section and has sent it to me for the cost of postage only.
