I really want to love this rug but it just wont stay flat even after steaming and laying flat for over a few weeks. i

I absolutely love the look of my new rug and am happy it is washable but I've only had it for two weeks and the corner stitching is already coming apart. I am hesitant to wash it in fear of it not holding up well.
