Sizing after recommend first wash

I have a king sized platform bed and I needed a quilt to tuck in around the sides. I bought this quilt because of it’s oversized measurements. After the recommended first wash following the directions the quilt shrank way more than they said it would. The quilt is no where near as soft as the description and it’s very easily picked. Since it was a final sale and can not be returned I now use it on my guest bedroom’s queen size bed and it fits perfect. I just wish the description was a little more honest. I would have saved my money.

I recently ordered two twin XL for our Airstream travel trailer and absolutely love the way they have elevated the bedroom! The quality is exactly as I expected. Because there was a great sale this 4th of July weekend I ordered the matching shams. The bedroom will soon be complete.

We absolutely love this quilt. It had a funny smell at first but I aired it out and it’s fine now. Love it. So pleased!
