Exceptional Quality & Transparently Sourced—My New Go-To!
I’ve spent a lot of time researching cacao to find a clean, high-nutrient option here in Canada, and I am so glad I found McGuire’s Single Origin Cacao Powder.
What really sets this apart for me is the transparency and sourcing. The Kokoa Kamili cacao beans from Tanzania is a huge factor regarding heavy metals as Tanzanian soil is known for being geologically much lower in cadmium compared to the South American origins found in most other brands.
Beyond the safety profile, it’s a truly high-quality 'natural' (non-alkalized) powder. Because it hasn't been chemically processed, it retains the rich, complex flavor and the natural flavanols that get stripped away in standard grocery store cocoas.
Shipping from New Brunswick was fast, and the quality is absolutely top-tier. Highly recommended for anyone looking to balance health, safety, and real chocolate flavour!
