Pivot-Head Drill Guide for Stair Runs

This fixture is almost unusable. The target for the drill bit cannot be seen and there are zero exterior marks/notches/indents by which to line the fixture with the target. It could be shorter to allow the first 3" from the handboard above. There is no line or mark to align the angle. Must all be done by sight. Ended up not using it and free hand drilling the holes. Should have field tested before selling.

Wasn’t the easiest to use. First one sent to me the drill hole was to small. Second one was fine.

Hi, It would work a heck of a lot better if it was able to go around a round post and maybe adjustable to fit multiple size. My project has round log post and is a little difficult to get it to secure to it.
