Tarry Lapsang Souchong

Smokey Thick, but a Tiny Slightly-Bitter Taste of Standard Black Teas

It's not my favourite Lapsang. It's thick-ish, but has a tiny "edge" of slightly-bitter "English Black Tea" taste, that I don't like. I can drink this fine in the afternoon, but first thing in the morning, it is not ideal. I can't handle normal black teas after 30+ years of strong Lapsangs. It's tough to find your perfect Lapsang these days, and clearly everyone has their own "perfect".

Tarry Lapsang Souchong.

The Tarry Lapsang Souchong has an excellent flavour. An added slice of lemon increases the pleasure of drinking this tea in the morning. A great tea.
