As luxurious as you'd expect, soft, smooth, durable, and no static. I have long hair so it was quite nice experiencing 0 static with a pillow case, I bought it to go on a shredded memory foam pillow which is equally nice and together this is without a doubt the most comfortable pillow and case I've ever had and it looks great too. My only possibly slight against it is that what people say is true and that it can slide away from you due to how slick it is, but I find that with the correct amount of shredded memory foam in the pillow it stayed in place with the pressure of just laying my head in a good spot in the center laying on my side or back.
