Factory Wiring Issue, But Customer Support Resolved It

I was very excited to receive my BBQ Legend 1000D4E WiFi, but unfortunately it would not operate correctly right out of the box. The auger ran continuously, the fan behaved incorrectly, and the shutdown cycle did not function as it should. I was unable to use the grill during my first weekend of ownership. After contacting Z Grills, their support team requested a video and several photos of the wiring. The troubleshooting process took a few days, but they eventually identified that the auger motor and fan wiring had been connected incorrectly from the factory. Once I switched the connectors as instructed, the grill immediately began operating normally. I appreciate that customer support stayed engaged until the problem was identified, and they were ultimately correct in diagnosing the issue. My only criticism is that I wish the wiring check had been suggested earlier, as it would have saved several days of troubleshooting and allowed me to enjoy the grill much sooner. While the factory wiring mistake was disappointing on a brand-new grill, I appreciate that the issue was resolved without needing replacement parts. I hope Z Grills can improve quality control to prevent this from happening to future customers

Worth the money

This is our first Z Grill and we're in love! shipping was fast and the grill was well packaged. Super easy to put together too! I do wish i would have ordered a bag of pellets in my order ( the videos i saw, i thought it came with the grill as part of the bundle!) All in all, Our family is happy and will make many meals with our smoker!

So I've cooked on this a bunch now and it is so easy. Everything stays within targeted temperature. The app works really well but if I could change one thing I wish the alarms were more than a one-time beep.
