I have an AT60 that I wanted to use as a terrestrial spotting scope as well as for early morning and late evening viewing of brighter celestial objects along the horizon and above. A traditional 90 degree diagonal was somewhat awkward for me to use. I thought about a 45 degree Amici but I didn't want to compromise the view. So I went with the TeleVue 60 degree diagonal and I am very happy that I did. This diagonal is well built and provides excellent bright and clear views, just as you would expect from TeleVue. The 60 degree angle is perfect for me as it provides a very comfortable viewing position from the horizon up to well past the ecliptic. I feel like the 60 degree angle provides a more natural ergonomic position for my purposes. And as usual, the service provided by Astronomics was superb!
