Meso Customs Overhead Hexrack For Tacoma (2005-2023)

The steal is sturdy, the product is quality. I chose this one because i wanted exactly that size, low profile, that ran more flush against the cab so we didnt lose head space. A passenger can sit comfortably under it without bumping their head. It looks nice and slick. Also, i didnt want to regret buying something cheaper that was going to be a poor fit and bend over time or be goofy looking and wobbly. I actually think the price is good and affordable given the quality. The only hiccup, is the order did not come with instructions, I also bought the “handle retention kit.” So i had to watch youtube videos, which worked. However, I found, due to the tacoma design (NOT a meso customs fault) it was not as easy as unbolting the handles and bolting in the molle panel. Theres a few extra steps that I found a RUBBER MALLET very useful for tapping the custom threaded rivet bolts in. Now that its secure, I have 0 regret with this purchase, I love it actually.

Cool rack

Very cool rack and was relatively easy to install. Everything was great except I wasn’t given 2 shorter bolts to secure the front part of the hex rack, but luckily I was able to find some that worked. The riv nuts were very tight in the back, but after some “persuasion” I was able to fit them in place. Overall a good buy and very cool look.
