The best
I own dozens of winter hats. None of them get worn except for this one, as soon as it hit the mailbox. Warmth without smothering makes this the best winter hat in existence. Highly recommended.

Snug as a Bug
It took a time or two to get this to sit right and allow me to walk and see, now that it sits well it has become my goto hat on our early Idaho morning walks, it has been around 15-22 and my head never gold cool was always toasting and warm over and hour or more walking and hiking,

The best hat for serious cold
Excellent for colder than +10f. Honestly too warm in warmer temps but lovely for the real cold. And that has been in a walk of a couple hours at -14 and another with air at -5f, but a feels like of -20f. Initially I was mildly annoyed by the little visor. With the flaps down that visor tended to ride too low in front. Then I found that I could flip it up out of the way. Then I discovered, walking into that -20f wind chill that visor offered a bit of windbreak for my face. Please offer more colors. And I mean colors not camo patterns: blue or red would be nice.
