Great lightweight layer for insulation and concealment

After a season of moderate use, this gaiter has performed great! Its elasticity is strong enough to keep it in place, without feeling like it’s squeezing your head. It stays up nicely over the nose, and the back stays put too—especially if you pull it up high and put a hat over it. The lightweight merino is surprisingly warm down to temps in the 30’s, yet it’s thin and breathable and porous enough that it doesn’t get damp and funky from your breath. When not pulled up over your face, it’s very effective and warm as a neck gaiter.
