I read this as one woman's struggle to maintain individuality in a world overrun by cults of belief. While we're not self-immolating yet, the pressure to experience the fervor and unity of a particular faction does appear to be growing. Gorgeous writing with no clumsy exposition; it flowed so well and invested the reader in the story.

This was such a strange and fresh twist to an apocalyptic short story! This was an impressive, fast-paced read. I highly recommend this author!

Short story and I really enjoyed it. If Michelle was to ever write a full on novel like this, I'd definitely buy!
