This product is amazing! Normally when it's hot outside my west-facing bedroom is 10 or more degrees hotter than the rest of my apartment. It really feels like an oven. The first day I installed the greenfilm, it was in the 90s outside but my bedroom was the same temperature as the rest of the apartment! It felt almost cool walking in there. Just amazing. That said, installation was not super easy (though Consumer Reports said this brand was the easiest to install of the ones they tested). It took two of us. I thought it was supposed to be paper backed but it was plastic. I'm not sure how much that mattered for installation but I think it will matter for storage. The film didn't always cut smoothly, so there are jagged edges (I used the box cutter that came with their installation kit). And even following all the directions and using tons of water with soap (the greenfilm application solution), I got a lot of little bubbles on the windows. I don't think you can really see them unless you look closely or from an angle, but I wish they weren't there. Otherwise, visibility is good. All in all, for the comfort factor and saving on A/c costs, I definitely recommend greenfilm.
